Paul Tarmann
Founder and CEO of Tellerus Corporation
Paul has over 42 years of experience in the oil and gas industry managing and applying various types of production treatment programs for upstream operations. His areas of expertise range from corrosion and scale control to oil/water separation for low to high volume water production and injection systems. He has many years of analytical laboratory experience from which he has developed a strong ability to interpret lab analyses and data. In addition, Paul has an extensive background with chemical stimulation of carbonates, shales and sandstone formations.
As a subject matter expert, he has helped manage the activities of other chemical vendors for his customers for operations that are outside of their fully managed assets.
Tarmann started Tellerus in 1999 amid a cyclic low in the oil industry. Local operators known to Paul needed better answers to chemical cost control. Tellerus was formed to address this need. Paul has long-term relationships with the owners of assets that he has managed for up to 25-30 years – which is practically unheard of in this business.
